What it means to be a Member
Every person in a British Taekwondo club is required to be a British Taekwondo member, even Olympic Athletes.
In joining British Taekwondo, you will learn Taekwondo with the only Taekwondo organisation in the UK accredited to World Taekwondo, the British Olympic Committee & British Paralympic Committee.
Annual membership of British Taekwondo is very reasonable at £30 per year on the top of that Way Taekwondo Club will charge additional cost £5 as an administration cost. Total cost for Annual membership is £35.
Speak to your club coach about joining and any additional club membership charges.
Your membership provides you with…
- Membership to the National Governing Body of the Olympic sport of taekwondo in the United Kingdom.
- Membership to World Taekwondo along with 60 million other members worldwide.
- Annual insurance.
- Access to seminars, courses, competitions and grading’s both locally and nationally.
- The potential to become the next Olympic Champion.
- A membership certificate (this can be downloaded directly from your Hub profile).
Terms and Conditions
“I agree to abide by all the rules and regulations of British Taekwondo in force during my membership period. I understand that I am only covered by British Taekwondo while my membership is current and that insurance will terminate on expiry. I agree not to abuse my knowledge of the art. I understand that my membership may be terminated should I bring British Taekwondo into disrepute or fail to comply with its rules and regulations.”

If you want to register yourself then here are some steps to follow.
Kids under 17
If you’re a new member trying to sign up kids under 17 for Way Taekwondo, follow these steps:
- Click on the “Join Now” button.
- Click on the “Sign Up” button on the redirected British Taekwondo website.
- Select “Guardian/Parent” and fill out the required information. Check your email inbox to activate your account.
- Once you activate your account, you’ll be taken back to the British-taekwondo.com website. Fill out the remaining fields about yourself (home address, phone number, etc.) and submit the form.
- After completing your account information, you can create members under your account. To do this, go to the “My Members” section on the left side of your account screen and click “Create New Member.”
- Choose one of our three clubs:
A) Way Taekwondo 3.001 – Broomfield Hall, 37 Broomfield Rd, Folkestone CT19 4DJ
B) Way Taekwondo 3.002 – Stock Catholic Church, Saint Simons, Brookfield Rd, Ashford TN23 4EU
C) Way Taekwondo 3.003 – Station Approach, The Stour Centre, Ashford TN23 1ET. - There is one field, “Membership type”, select “Regular member”.
- If you encounter any problems during the process, you can call Way Taekwondo at 07450 260314 for assistance.
Click the Join Now button to register and follow the steps above.
Adult
If you are adult, to sign up for our Way Taekwondo membership, please follow these steps:
- Click on the “Join Now ” button.
- Click on the “Sign Up” button on the redirected British Taekwondo website.
- Select the membership type as “Member”.
- Choose one of our three clubs:
A) Way Taekwondo 3.001 – Broomfield Hall, 37 Broomfield Rd, Folkestone CT19 4DJ
B) Way Taekwondo 3.002 – Stock Catholic Church, Saint Simons, Brookfield Rd, Ashford TN23 4EU
C) Way Taekwondo 3.003 – Station Approach, The Stour Centre, Ashford TN23 1ET - Complete the remaining fields with your information.
- Check your email to activate your account.
- Once you activate your account, return to the website to complete the remainder of the fields, including your home address and phone number.
- Submit your completed form.

Click the Join Now button to register and follow the steps above.
How to make payment?
You will receive email invoice from Way Taekwondo to make your payment!
