EVENT CANCELLATIONS – UPDATE
As most of you will be aware, the current situation and updated government advice today regarding Coronavirus (COVID19) has meant a number of events have been cancelled or postponed.
This has impacted significantly on Taekwondo event activity domestically, with the following events now being called off:
Cancelled events
21st March – Cadet Squad Training
22nd March – Next Gen Training
22 March – TCGB Championships
29 March – Ultimate 1-1
29 March – Northern Ireland Taekwondo Championships
05 April – North East Open Championships
Internationally, World Taekwondo have also announced this morning that the World Poomsae Championships, scheduled for May in Denmark, has also been cancelled. We will keep people informed as much as we can, once WT decide what will happen with this event.
We all understand that these decisions have not been taken lightly, and made in the best interests of all participants and spectators during this unprecedented situation.
